We were excited to find so many YouTube videos with our father daughter song, “You’re My Hero!” Lots of them are for weddings, and now, we find that a lot of folks are catching on that this is not only a wedding song but a great song for Dad’s birthday or father’s day, or other special occasions. This particular video is one of our favorites and was made as a tribute from a daughter to her father. (If you like it as much as we do, let us know & “digg” it!)

A Special Relationship… A Father and a Daughter

There’s something so special about a father daughter relationship. He was, after all, your first love….that important wonderful man you first looked up to for strength and guidance, wisdom and support.

If you’re lucky enough to have a great relationship with your dad, your wedding day and the moments of your Father/Daughter dance will be that much more meaningful and moving. You’ll feel your gratitude and love even more.
 
Actually expressing your gratitude and understanding and just how much your Father has meant to you as you were growing up is a terrific gesture anytime, but especially on the occasion of your wedding. He’s probably feeling many mixed emotions at this time, and what a wonderful thing it would be to express your own feelings to him right now. He may not show it, but even ‘tough guy’ Dads melt when their little girl becomes a bride.
 
And yet, sometimes we can’t quite picture ourselves ‘saying’ all these things to our Dads. Sometimes…like now… music speaks louder than words.
