This year’s Grammy nominations are out and the word is that it’s going to be a great show! All the nominees for record of the year are unique ranging from pop to folk to R&B. Taking a cue from our Oscars blog post, we’ve dug deep and chosen a song from each nominated artist that we think will be perfect for certain parts of the wedding ceremony and reception. As Grammy-Emmy award winning professionals, we just couldn’t pass up this opportunity! The title of the song says it all! Bruno Mars, aka Mr. Ballad, will not only ‘catch a grenade’ in the name of love, but will be in love for the rest of his life. This is a great record and we’re sure you and your guests will never forget this moment as the song plays during your first dance.
MUMFORD & SONGS – SHE SAID YES
What better way to kick off the very first moments as man and wife than with a song that literally celebrates your union! Your guests will enjoy it as much as you do, since “She Said Yes” was written to be played right after the ceremony for the wedding recessional. The energy of the song is perfect to get everyone ready for the fun and vibrant reception to follow!
