Welcome to the Wedding Music Central Blog! We’re Multiple Emmy-winner GLORIA SKLEROV and co-writer and partner BARBARA ROTHSTEIN, creators of Wedding Music Central.
As professional songwriters who set romance to music for movies and TV shows, we’ve had to master the art of ‘marrying’ the right music to each ’scene’ …including lots of wedding scenes…to enhance and capture the emotion of each special moment. With our wedding music expertise, our mission is to create that same magic and emotion for your wedding.
If you’re looking for that special song – or as we like to say – “The perfect song for the perfect moment,” listen to our “original and unique” new wedding songs and contemporary arrangements of classical wedding ceremony music. Interested in finding the perfect song for your wedding?

Your Wedding Music Horoscope: Capricorn
Capricorn (December 21-January 20)
As a Capricorn, you’re used to challenges… surefooted enough to climb your personal mountains and reach the top. While ambition spurs you onward, you also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you’re respected by others for your accomplishments.
Where music and creativity are concerned, you follow your intuition… and you carry out your ideas brilliantly. So much so, in fact, that you might appear at times to be a risk taker. Not so. You achieve success through hard work. If someone were to ask you the question, “How do you get to Carnegie Hall?”… the answer could be your motto: Practice, practice, practice!
You love to plan ahead and make sure you’ve got all your bases covered. As for risks, you have an aversion to them…big time. You are the one who will calculate what will happen with almost everything you do…few impulsive actions for you. And this is your insurance that the wedding music plan you come up with will be a fabulous one, perfectly executed.
Lots of your friends ask you for advice because you’re so sensible. This is a real plus, because it’s important to make sure, for example, that your band or DJ will be properly prepared on the big day and that other important details are covered. Go with your natural tendency not to assume anything…double check everything. You have an advantage here because asking the right questions is easy for a Capricorn.
There’s one thing that might require some effort though…a possible weakness of yours: Don’t forget to have fun and be lighthearted. You have a tendency for too much work and not enough play. Let yourself go when making your musical choices. You can still keep your eye on the ball by making sure your plan is written out like a script.
For tips on creating a script and how to deal with bands and DJs like a pro, and more inside planning secrets, check out our wedding music planning section, Wedding Music 101 for in depth articles (perfect for your Capricorn thoroughness). A lovely choice for your processional would be:
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
“TRUMPET VOLUNTARY” (used by Princess Diana at her wedding)
This is a perfect selection for a regal Capricorn bride. You and your wedding will be amazing! We’d love to know your wedding music choices and anything more about your Capricorn personality you’d like to share. All your comments are appreciated.
